This is a video that I have produced with my group of friends for an insurance company.
I am the producer and production assistant for this project. I had to come up with the shooting schedule, do casting call, casting audition, location scouting, budgeting and also callsheet for this advertisement. I also had to make sure that everything is going on smoothly during the production and liaise with our client. It wasn't easy as I had to do my internship and freelance for this project at the same time as I have multiple projects to juggle. But I have received a lot of help from my director and team members. I also learned to mange my time well.

Final Year Project - BTS
This is a video I edited to conclude the whole of our Final Year TikTok project.
I am the cameraman, video editor and helped out in script-writing for this project. I had to edit nearly 20 short videos within one month which was really challenging as I had to constantly stay creative and come up with fresh ideas. There were times were I reached a creative block so I would go and watch variety shows to get inspirations. I have learnt to choose only the best parts from each clips and compact the essence of the clips into 1 minute videos.

Time - a film for eldercare
This is a film I created for a module called digital filmmaking with my group mates. I was the cameraman, editor and sound man for this film. It was very difficult to get the location as we really wanted a carnival and it would be too costly to setup a whole carnival. But we are able to rent the carnival by J'kids amusement for $800 for 2 days. It rained on the first day so we just used voice-over for the dialogues. We also worked with students from NAFA screen media and Ngee Ann Polytechnic Film Sound Video. The film turned out pretty close to what we imagined and was the best in class.

Toilet paper commercial
This is a short commercial I created at home during circuit breaker. It was very difficult to get the shots I want when filming this alone because I had to roll the toilet papers more than 30 times and it was very tedious. I didn't have lighting equipments so I used my table lamp and my phone flashlight. It is my first time creating a funny commercial in my storeroom so I had to work very well within the confined space and the equipments I had. But it turned out great as I had more than 900 people viewing it on instagram and many people left positive comments.

Documentary video
This is a documentary video I created as a class assignment with my group mates. My role was the editor but I also helped as the cameraman and also took some behind the scene shots. We faced many challenges as we did not have enough footages so I took more footages with the cameraman during our own time. And there was a lot of background noise so we had to do a lot of noise reduction and ensuring that the volume is consistent. In the end, we received a grade of B+ for this module.

Promotional video
This is a video created to publicise an event that our class organised on Instagram TV. I filmed this video with my friend, acted, directed and edited it. I came up with this idea for the video as I thought it was pretty interesting to capture our audience attention and it helps to promote our event as well. It was filmed only with phone and gimbal. This video was finished on that day itself.

I had use a sound software to do noise reduction because we filmed this in an open space and it was really noisy and we had very limited equipments.
